Building Tomorrow Together

El Paso Building Tomorrow Together

North East Skate Park

We’re investing in key areas which will improve El Paso's competitive advantage and make El Paso a better place to live.

Our investments in quality of life infrastructure represent nearly a half-a-billion dollars work of new parks, recreation centers, museums, and cultural facilities. Since these projects were approved by voters in 2012, we’ve broken ground on parks, acquired property for new recreation centers, and begun key planning exercises for other facilities.

Country Club Road

We have devoted near a quarter billion dollars to improving our city’s transportation network by reconstructing major thoroughfares, resurfacing others, beautifying highly-travelled corridors, and ensuring that our streets safelu serve all users – motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.

We are committed to work working with partner organizations at the state and regional level to ensure El Pasoans get their fair share of major transportation infrastructure projects. That means landmark projects like the El Paso Streetcar and westward extension of Loop 375 will enhance El Paso’s growing surface transportation system.

Sun Metro Brio

Other projects include El Paso’s first Bus Rapid Transit System, a world-class consolidated rental car facility at the El Paso International Airport, key upgrades to the city’s International Bridges, and new Fire Stations that help keep our neighborhoods safe.

Reshaping this community’s future is indeed a community-wide undertaking. As never before, we will work together as elected leaders, city staff, and community organizers to accomplish our community’s goals.
