On October 3, 2013 Mayor and City Council met with City Manager, Deputy City Managers and top administrative personnel to define a strategic direction for the City of El Paso, that would positively impact the workforce and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of El Paso. The organizational strategic planning session was managed and facilitated by Gilbert Moreno of Prestige Consulting Services. During the day long planning session City leaders discussed and reviewed information that had been compiled previously from reflection questions and a long interview process of our City’s “Strategic Thinkers.” The key values and goals of the organization were identified. The result of the month long process and the successful planning session have been documented in the attachment below. We encourage everyone to review the information and be up to date on the plan our City leaders will be following to assist in improving our City’s quality of life and services.
