Notice of Introduction

Pursuant to Section 3.9A of the El Paso City Charter, the following Ordinances were properly introduced at a Regular Council Meeting on OCTOBER 14, 2014:
 

  1. An Ordinance vacating a drainage easement described as the platted 5’ drainage easement lying in Lot 13, Block 4, San Clemente Unit 2, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas.
 
  1. An Ordinance amending Title 12 (Vehicles and Traffic), Chapter 12.88 (Schedules), Section 12.88.030 (Schedule III - Parking Prohibited At All Times On Certain Streets) Paragraph 354 (Sun Bowl Drive), to amend the No Parking Locations on Sun Bowl Drive, the penalty being as provided in Chapter 12.84.010 and Chapter 12.85 of the El Paso City Code.

  1. An Ordinance changing the zoning of Lot 24, Block 1, Alta-Mira Addition, 1200 Chelsea Street, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas from R-4 (Residential) to A-O (Apartment-Office), and imposing conditions.   1. An Ordinance changing the zoning of a portion of Lot 8, Block 6, Maria Seanes Estates, Unit 1, being a portion of Section 8, Block 79, Township 3, Texas and Pacific Railroad Surveys, 1614 Jose Bombach Drive, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas from R-3A/c/sp (Residential/condition/special permit) to C-1 (Commercial).   1. An Ordinance changing the zoning of the Southerly 140 feet of blocks 201 and 202 and the vacated alley and street between, Campbell Addition, 216. S. Ochoa Street and 811-813 E. First Avenue, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas from M-1 (Manufacturing) and M-1/sp (Manufacturing/special permit) to C-4 (Commercial), and repealing Ordinance No. 012649 granting Special Permit No. SP-95 permitting the off-street parking of 301 S. Ochoa to be satisfied onsite. The penalty is as provided for in Chapter 20.24 of the El Paso City Code. Subject Property: 216 S. Ochoa Street and 811 – 813 First Avenue. An Ordinance changing the zoning of a portion of Tract 4C, (Also known as Tract 4C2 and 4C1A), Block 52, Ysleta Grant, 9850 Socorro Road, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas from A-2/sc (Apartment/special contract) and A-2/H/sc (Apartment/Historic/special contract) to C-1/sc (Commercial/special contract) and C-1/H/sc (Commercial/Historic/ special contract). The penalty is as provided for in Chapter 20.24 of the El Paso City Code. Subject Property: 9850 Socorro Road. Property Owner: James R. Gonzalez. PZRZ14-00039.
 
  1. An Ordinance granting Special Permit No. PZST14-00020, to allow for Infill Development with reduced lot size, rear yard setback, and cumulative front and rear yard setbacks on the property described as Lot 4, Block 29, Colonia Del Valle Unit Two, 9325 Milpas Lane, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, Pursuant to Section 20.10.280 Infill Development of the El Paso City Code. The penalty being as provided for in Chapter 20.24 of the El Paso City Code. Subject Property: 9325 Milpas Lane. Property Owner: Jessica Nuno. PZST14-00020.
 
PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 2014, FOR ITEMS 3-8

Public Hearings will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting which begins at approximately 8:00 a.m.  All interested persons present shall have an opportunity to be heard at that time.  After the public hearings, Council may also delay taking action on Ordinances; no requirement is made by Section 3.9B of the El Paso City Charter to publish any further notice.  Copies of all Ordinances are available for review in the City Clerk’s office, 300 N. Campbell Street, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that, during a regular meeting of the City Council held on October 14, 2014, the Mayor has approved and the City Council has passed the following Ordinances:
 
ORDINANCE 018257 An Ordinance changing the zoning of a portion of Lot 27, Block 123, Chaparral Park Subdivision Unit 33, 820 Redd Road, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas from A-O/c (Apartment/Office/condition) to C-1/c (Commercial/condition). The penalty is as provided for in Chapter 20.24 of the El Paso City Code. Subject Property: 820 Redd Road. Property Owner: George M. Dipp, Jr. PZRZ14-00027.
