A government as large and complex as the City of El Paso requires an extensive portfolio of software and business applications. The corner stone of our data management is made up of several enterprise applications including: Oracle PeopleSoft, Accela Automation, and CityWorks just to name a few. We also support Geographical Information Systems (GIS), a host of critical software packages, and do extensive custom development to augment or build solutions to the unique needs of our organization.

The website and our growing mobile application development is quickly becoming a larger part of our software strategy. This is particularly important to our objective of enhancing the City’s Citizen Engagement efforts through the use of mobile technology.

Digital El Paso is a growing technology project delivering high quality broadband Internet access at Wi-Fi hotspots all over our community. We currently support service at the El Paso International Airport, El Paso Public Libraries, the greater downtown area, and many more locations coming online very soon!

We are proud to be a critical component of the City’s operational and strategic objectives, and do our part to enhance our community.

IT Superstar of the month

Enrique Martinez - IT Super Star Enrique Martinez was chosen as the IT Superstar for the extraordinary effort that he has put forth with the Project Management Office over the past year.

The hard work and countless hours he has put in to ensure that a successful relocation from City Hall to several locations for all City Departments was representative of the effort and demeanor that should be inspirational for all employees.

During the relocation efforts the City of El Paso has been working on, Enrique has been pivotal in making the project a success by working with outside consultants, vendors, and all internal City staff. Enrique continues to strive towards the success of not only the City Hall relocation project, but additionally has focused his efforts on achieving the same type of success for the PC Refresh Deployment Project and the VoIP Project by providing exemplary service to all the teams and stakeholders involved.

A sincere congratulations and a heartfelt thank you is extended to Enrique from the Department of Information Technology Services Management and Staff!
