Program Functions

• Provide clinical services for the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases
• Reduce incidence of STDs in the El Paso community through STD/HIV case investigations and surveillance
• Raise awareness by providing resources and education on STD/HIV

Services Offered

Testing includes Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomonas (for female clients), Syphilis, and HIV. Treatment provided for positive STD results

STD/HIV advising

All services are strictly confidential and are available to the public (including minors 15 years and older).

Fees

HIV Test - $10.00
Full Testing (includes gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV) - Sliding Scale
Exam and testing fees follow an income-based Sliding Scale set by Federal Poverty Guidelines
(Note: The fee charged to clients who do not provide proof of income is $55)
Payment is accepted in cash and major credit cards. A 1.95% administration fee may apply on credit card charges.

• Employer paycheck stub
• Copy of prior year income tax return
• Notarized letter stating the amount of unemployment received weekly
• Partner or spouse's income verification if client is unemployed
• Medicaid letter indicating the Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) amount received monthly
• Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) letter stating the amount of benefits the individual is receiving

Hours of Operation

Clinic closed for lunch from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Patients wanting to test should arrive by 11:00 am before lunch and 4:30 pm at the end of the day to allow time for full testing and services (subject to change due to client volume).



No appointment necessary, clients are seen on a walk-in basis.
