The City, in partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, UTEP, Sun Metro, and El Paso Community College, used a $256,000 state grant to install 32 electric vehicle charging stations. The funding was from the Texas State Energy Conservation Office’s Transportation Efficiency Program.
The map below shows the electric vehicle charging stations that were funded through the grant, and also several more stations that UTEP added. Electric vehicle charging stations throughout the US can be viewed on Blink’s map: https://www.blinknetwork.com/blinkMap.html
