Neighborhood / Group Cleanups
We can help your registered neighborhood association or group/organization plan a small cleanup effort to be hosted on a Saturday. For help on how to plan your own cleanup, check out some of our helpful planning checklists on our Helpful Downloads page.

Great American Cleanup (Citywide)
America’s largest organized cleanup, beautification and community improvement program, The Great American Cleanup, comes to El Paso each April, where volunteers throughout the city participate in litter cleanups, recycling drives, community improvement projects, park renewal, and much more.  For an application, visit our Helpful Downloads page.

Bags to Benches
It’s about as simple as it sounds.  We help turn recycled plastic bags into benches.

ESD has teamed up with Trex, the country’s largest manufacturer of wood-alternative decking and railing products, to host this plastic bag recycling challenge.  There are 7 drop off sites located throughout the city. Please be sure to “bag your bags” when you drop them off.
