An estimated $830 million in programmed projects are included in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

The CIP accounts for 270 active projects targeting various infrastructure initiatives to include:

The City has taken a leadership role in adopting Silver LEED Certification requirements for the construction of all new and renovated city-owned buildings 5,000 square feet and larger.

This represents an innovative opportunity to convert design and construction standards towards more sustainable, green infrastructure.

Fire Station # 33 was the first municipal building to feature a geothermal heating and cooling unit providing added energy efficiencies and cost savings.

Archives dating back to the early 1900’s are available in the Engineering Map Room.

Available City archives include subdivision plans, benchmarks, some surveys and state highway plans and documents. Aerial photographs dating as far back as 1956 are also available.

The Sidewalk Gap Replacement Program is available to eligible areas addressing sidewalk connectivity throughout the city.
